July 1, 2009 Principal Dennis Haskell, FAIA, becomes a LEED Accredited Professional. 100% of SRG's 16 principals and 93% of SRG's design staff are now LEED Accredited.

June 29, 2009 SRG has been selected to present its master planning work for South Puget Sound Community College at the SCUP Annual International Conference in Portland, OR, July 18-22. Presenters include SRG principal Jane Hendricks, AIA, SRG architect Barney Mansavage, AIA, and Nancy McKinney, Vice President for Administrative Services for the College.

June 26, 2009 SRG principal Kent Duffy, FAIA, along with Professor G.Z. Charlie Brown, FAIA, of the Energy Studies in Buildings Laboratory, are scheduled to present at the AIA Seattle + 2030 Professional Series on July 17. The session will explore sustainable alternatives to electricity and fuel as sources of building energy.

June 20, 2009 Mount Angel Abbey hosted its 3rd annual Festival of Arts & Wine in St. Benedict, OR. Open to the public, the event raised funds for the celebrated Alvar Aalto-designed Abbey library and its collections and included a tour of the SRG-designed Annunciation Academic Center.

June 15, 2009 Principal Kent Duffy is scheduled to present the innovative sustainable design principles behind Mount Angel Abbey's Annunciation Academic Center at the Summer Sustainability Series '09 in Portland, OR on June 24.

June 3, 2009 Staff architect Ingrid Krueger becomes a LEED Accredited Professional.

June 2, 2009 Groundbreaking ceremony takes place on a new $15 million health & wellness center SRG is designing for Lane Community College in Eugene, OR, the first new academic center to be built on campus in 10 years.
